Commisions:
Your individual artwork

I currently take on a limited number of commissions each quarter, because I love working closely with you to create a personalized artwork for your space, working in my current style and colour palette.

Please fill out an application below if you are interested in a commission piece.

How it works

01 — Let's start with
your vision

Let’s keep it really simple in the beginning.

You tell me a bit about your space, your vision, maybe even how you want to feel when you walk into the room.

You don’t need a clear idea at all — actually, it’s often even better if you don’t overthink it and we figure it out together from there, what feels right for you and your space.

How it works

02 — Together, we look at
size and colors.

We’ll decide which format and size fits best for the space where your artwork will live, as well as which colors you’re drawn to and how they can harmonize with the room.

It makes sense to choose the colors based on your space and the overall feeling of your home. To make sure the piece feels beautifully connected to the room, we’ll either pick up tones that already exist in your interior or choose colors that complement your furniture.

I’ll guide you with what I feel works best, but in the end it’s always a mix of your intuition and mine.

How it works

03 — I create

This is the part where I go into my process.

It’s very intuitive, so I don’t fully plan the outcome — and that’s exactly the point.

This process asks for your trust in my creative flow and the freedom to let the piece become what it’s meant to be.

A small note: Every piece is created intuitively.
Which means I don’t “copy” or recreate something exactly — each artwork has its own energy and direction. And that’s also why it becomes so individual.

How it works

04 — It finds its way to you

When it’s finished, I’ll share it with you and we organize everything so it arrives safely at your place.

If there’s anything you’re not fully happy with, we can still make small adjustments at the end.

We’ll also choose the right frame together, making sure it fits the piece and your space perfectly.

And then it’s yours — not just as an artwork, but as something that holds a feeling.

FAQ

Can I send you inspiration images?

Yes, you’re very welcome to send me inspiration images. If you’re referring to one of my existing works, please send me the title of the piece or the Instagram link so I can use it as a reference.

If you’re sharing inspiration from other artists, please keep in mind that I work exclusively in my own style and do not copy other artists’ work. The most valuable inspiration is the atmosphere you’d like to create in your home — or a specific emotion, memory or moment you’d like the artwork to capture.

Can you help me figure out what size I need?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know the exact size or format before commissioning a piece — that’s what I’m here for. The only thing you need to know is where in your home the artwork is meant to live and from there we can decide together which format will work best.

It’s easy to underestimate how quickly a piece can feel lost on a wall or how much space it needs in relation to something like a sofa or sideboard. I’m happy to help you find the right balance so the artwork feels intentional and truly at home in your space.

What sizes are available?

I usually work in sizes starting from 70 x 70 cm and up. From there, almost anything is possible — it really just depends on what you’re looking for and where the piece will hang.

Can you work with preferred colors or color palettes?

It makes sense to choose the colors based on your space and the overall feeling of your home. To make sure the piece feels beautifully connected to the room, it’s important to either pick up tones that already exist in your interior or choose colors that complement your furniture.

We can create the color palette together beforehand so everything feels cohesive and intentional.

Will I receive progress updates along the way?

Before I begin, we’ll talk through what you’re envisioning, which colors feel right and the kind of atmosphere you’d like the piece to hold.

Once I start working on the piece, I don’t share progress updates, as the creation process is deeply intuitive and unfolds layer by layer. The work often shifts and evolves as it comes to life and that process needs space to develop naturally.

At the end, we can talk through any small final adjustments if needed — but overall, this process asks for your trust in my creative flow and the freedom to let the piece become what it’s meant to be.

How long does a commissioned piece take?

It depends on how many projects I’m working on at the time, but most commissioned pieces take around 4–6 weeks.

Before I begin, I’ll always give you a clear timeframe so you know what to expect.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a 50% deposit is due once we confirm the commission. The remaining 50% is paid once the piece is finished, before it’s shipped to you.

Can you visualize the piece in my space beforehand?

If you can’t quite imagine the piece in your home yet, I’ll happily visualize the artwork within an image of your space so you can see how it would feel.

What framing options are available?

All of my artworks are usually framed in oak or mahogany, as these materials naturally complement my work and the spaces they live in. All frames are handcrafted by us, because it’s important to me that the quality feels just right and that every detail is carefully chosen. For most pieces, a wooden frame is what I feel suits the artwork best and is therefore my preferred option. However, during the purchase process you can choose the frame that you feel suits your piece best. And if you have something different in mind, feel free to reach out before ordering.
